Kevään viimeiset lumityöt

Ajattelin ensin kirjoittaan otsikkoon, että tämän vuoden viimeiset lumityöt on nyt tehty, mutta ehkä se olisi ollut liian suurta optimismia, vaikka 1990-2000 luvuilla olikin paljon lähes lumettomia talvia. Mutta jatketaan sitten taas ensi syksynä siitä mihin nyt tällä kertaa jäätiin…

Nyt nimitttäin vasta puhkaisin viimein kulkureitin tontin takakulmalle, jossa on muutama pino jo valmiiksi tehtyjä polttopuita, ja joita nyt tarvitsen kellarin sulatuspuuhissa. Aikaisemmin tontin takakulmalle ei ole ollut mitään asiaa, paitsi ehkä suksilla tai lumikengillä olisi saattanut päästä. Nytkin lapioitavaa oli vielä 30-40 senttiä, ilman lapioimistakin kävin takakulmalla kerran kääntymässä, mutta tahtoi mennä lunta saappaan varsista sisään. Eteläisen naapurin seinä on rajassa kiinni, ja pohjoisen seinän takana lumi kestää näköjään sulaa aika kauan.

  483. Meilläkin takapiha on varsinainen ongelma, sillä sinne ei ole mitään asiaa ilman niitä lumikenkiä… ja meillä kun alkaa KESÄloma vajaan kolmen viikon päästä ja silloin oli tarkoitus aloittaa pihan laittamista ja tilata siirtonurmi. Juu, haaveeksi tais jäädä 😉

    • Saas nähdä miten tänä keväänä käy… Jos tuo meidänkin tontin perällä nyt oleva lumi sulaisi helatorstaisiin mennessä eli noin 3-4 viikossa pois, sitten pitäisi sulaa sentti-pari päivässä. Tosin yllättävän nopeasti lumi on parina aikaisempana vuotena lähtenyt – sitten kun on lähtenyt.
